Dear CCNA Candidate, Deciding to attend a CCNA Boot Camp is a great decision for your career, but choosing the wrong one can literally cost you thousands of dollars in tuition, travel costs, and time! On top of that, when you put down your hard-earned $1500 - $4000 for a single week of education, you don't even know who the instructor's going to be until you show up on the first day of class! Summing it up, there are three major problems with the average CCNA boot camp: The cost is outrageous. I don't know who decided that a single week of education should cost $1500 - $4000, but it sure wasn't me. You don't know the quality of instruction you'll receive. You have to take time away from family - maybe even having to use your hard-earned vacation time - and then you've got the major hassles of air travel, not to mention spending even more money! I've been exactly where you are right now, working hard on your CCNA certification, and I know your wallet isn't bottomless. You can't take chances with your career while gambling thousands of dollars that you chose the right CCNA boot camp.
When I was sitting in one particularly bad technical class, I promised that I'd do something about this situation one day. After earning my CCIE, I've done just that. My CCNA Training Methods Have Worked For Thousands Around The World - And They WILL Work For You!
My CCNA Mastermind Online Webinar will bring you 30 hours of LIVE instruction from yours truly on CCNA topics from switching to OSPF, from frame relay to EIGRP - and I won't just read a bunch of prepackaged slides to you!
I'll give you the theory you need to know to pass the exam, and then I'll show you the theory in action on a rack of real Cisco routers and switches.
I am the only instructor you'll work with during the entire course - that's my promise to you! The CCNA Mastermind Webinar is 100% live and 100% taught by Chris Bryant, CCIE #12933.
Here are just a few of the vital CCNA exam topics we'll discuss and that you'll master during our time together:
- Switching (everything from basic switch operation to STP tuning, root bridge election to Etherchannel creation and troubleshooting)
- EIGRP
- OSPF
- RIP
- Cables, Cables, and MORE Cables
- Binary Math, Subnetting, and Hexadecimal Conversions
- Frame Relay and Directly Connected Serial Interfaces
But this is no series of boring, repetitive lectures - far from it!
I'll use a pod of REAL Cisco routers and switches to illustrate the important concepts that you must konw in order to earn your CCNA - and I'll use that pod to perform over 70 LIVE CCNA labs, all the while pointing out the vital details you must know in order to pass the CCNA exam!
Here's a partial list of the labs, all performed and explained LIVE:
Directly Connected Serial Interfaces And Point-to-Point Links:
Change the encap from the default of HDLC to PPP
How to detect an encapsulation mismatch – and how to fix it
Configuring PAP and CHAP on a point-to-point link
Debugging PAP and CHAP to detect password mismatches and other connection issues
Configuring a Serial interface to use both PAP and CHAP
PPP multilink and compression options
Frame Relay:
Configuration of Frame Relay on physical interfaces, multipoint subinterfaces, and point-to-point subinterfaces, with careful attention paid to which commands are appropriate for each of those interface types
Debugging and showing the Frame Relay LMI to detect and resolve Frame Relay connection issues
Configuring a specific LMI type rather than using LMI Autosense
Enabling and disabling Frame Relay Inverse ARP
Using the frame relay map and frame relay interface-dlci commands (correctly, that is!)
Exploring the “0.0.0.0” Frame Relay mapping – what it means and why we should or shouldn't be concerned
Verifying and troubleshooting Frame Relay map statements
Configuring frame map statements with and without the “broadcast” option – we'll see what the exact (and slightly misleading) result is
Solving split horizon issues in three different ways, including using frame relay subinterfaces
Viewing BECN, FECN, and DE statistics
Viewing and verifying Frame Relay PVC statistics, and using these statistics to locate Frame Relay problems
Switching:
Illustrated discussion of the “forward/filter/flood” decision process
Viewing the MAC address table
Changing the aging time for dynamically learned MAC addresses
Testing IP connectivity between hosts in the same VLAN, and then we'll see what happens when the hosts are placed in different VLANs
Placing ports into VLANs – even VLANs that have not yet been created - and using show vlan commands to verify these settings
Port security configurations, including viewing the default settings, configuring additional secure MAC addresses, changing the violation mode, and viewing the results of a port security violation
How to verify Spanning Tree Protocol statistics and defaults, including identifying root ports, forwarding ports, and blocked ports
Configuring STP timers, including Hello Time and MaxAge
Changing the results of the root bridge election
Changing port speed and duplex settings with the interface range command
Portfast configuration, verification, and proper use
Trunk configuration between two Cisco switches – we'll see dynamically created trunks and learn how to statically configure one as well
VLAN Trunking Protocol configuration, including viewing the defaults, setting a domain name, setting a password for the VTP domain, and configuring switches in different VTP modes
Watching the VTP Configuration Revision Number in action
Etherchannel configuration – why we configure them, the options and limits for Etherchannels, and their effect on port costs and Spanning Tree Protocol
Passwords And Other Non-Protocol-Specific Commands
Configuring VTY line and console line passwords
Configuring and comparing enable passwords and enable secrets
Using Hyperterminal to connect to a Cisco router console port
Configuring and verifying privilege levels
Creating a local username/password database for user authentication
Banner creation – we'll create MOTD and login banners
Configuration and proper use of the logging sync and exec-timeout commands
Changing and viewing history buffers
Password recovery – we'll perform actual password recovery on a Cisco router, live!
Configuration modes – every config mode you'll see on the CCNA exam, you'll see here
Static Routes:
We'll configure static routes and use debug commands to test connectivity in a live router scenario. We'll use both options for static commands, configure default static commands, and use pings and debugs to verify the correct result!
We'll also take a look at the one scenario where a static route shows up as a “directly connected” route – great information for the CCNA exam and for working on production networks!
I'll also show you when and why to create a floating static route by changing the default administrative distance of a static route.
When we're done, I'll show you how to remove static routes, and we'll move into our RIP labs and discussion.
RIP:
I'll show you the #1 command for verifying RIP – after we configure RIP and verify the unique default settings.
Autosummarization – I'll show you how to disable it, how to enable it, and the potential issues presented by this routing protocol behavior
RIP versions – We'll verify the version settings and then hardcode RIP to use only one version on both a global and per-interface basis.
RIP routing table – I'll continually show you the RIP routing table as the lab progresses, and show you other vital commands for verifying the RIP configuration. We'll also take a look at the RIP timers.
Binary Math:
In this exclusive portion of the course, I'll teach you the same dynamic methods I've taught thousands of CCNA and CCNP candidates around the globe through my ebooks and videos – and it's all LIVE.
I'll show you exactly how to solve binary math and subnetting questions – no tricks, no “magic numbers”, no memorization – and you'll be amazed at how simple it is, just as thousands of Cisco certification candidates just like you have found out!
I'll also give every attendee a free download of my world-famous Binary Math Mastery ebook, with over 200 practice questions of every type – and every answer is fully illustrated. I won't just give you the answer, I'll show you exactly how we arrived at the answer!
EIGRP:
Using a three-router network with both Serial and Ethernet segments, I'll show you exactly how to get started with an EIGRP configuration, including the proper use of wildcard masks and the no auto-summary command.
I'll use typical and not-so-typical EIGRP show commands to verify our configuration, including how to view all three of EIGRP's tables.
Feasible successor and Successor routes can be found in those tables as well, and I'll show you exactly where to find each – and one of those tables just might surprise you!
I'll show you how to use the variance command in EIGRP to perform unequal-cost load balancing.
OSPF:
In a network including Serial, Ethernet, and Loopback interfaces, I'll show you exactly which values must be agreed upon between two potential OSPF neighbors – and which one doesn't have to be agreed upon that just might surprise you!
I'll show you vital OSPF debug commands that will help you spot adjacency issues on both the CCNA exam and in production networks.
The OSPF hello and dead timers are vital to proper OSPF operation, and I'll show you how to verify and change these settings – and how to change both of those timers with a single command!
We'll also see the impact on the other routers in our network when we change those hello and dead timers.
I'll show you exactly how to configure OSPF over a hub-and-spoke Frame Relay network. This OSPF configuration trips up many a CCNA candidate, but you won't be stopped on exam day when I show you the important details of this common but tricky network type.
OSPF will also be configured on point-to-point and Broadcast links in our network, and you'll see exactly how to do that.
Other OSPF labs include …
Hardcoding the OSPF RID and verifying that setting
Checking the OSPF router type of any given Cisco router
Proper use of the default-information always command
… and two truly unique labs where I'll show you an OSPF network type that doesn't use DRs, BDR, or DROTHERs – and a unique situation where some OSPF adjacencies don't finish forming – and why we're actually happy about that!
Access Lists:
I'll show you exactly how to write, troubleshoot, verify, and properly use…
Standard ACLs
Extended ACLs
Remarks
When to use “host” and “any” in your ACLs
Named ACLs
Using an ACL to block Telnet access
*exactly* where to place ACLs for maximum effectiveness
How to use ACLs to block pings – and when you shouldn't do that!
Dynamic and Time-Based ACLs
AND… I'll show you exactly how to perform route summarization, and how to configure it.
This type of question strikes fear in the average CCNA candidate – but as you can see, you'll certainly not be an average CCNA candidate when you've finished my CCNA Mastermind Online Webinar!
Remember, these aren't all of the topics we cover. I'll also deliver powerful, information-packed lectures on NAT, IP version 6, network troubleshooting, network security, wireless networks, and more…. over 25 hours of information-rich, lab-packed CCNA instruction - and it's all live!

What Is Passing The CCNA Exam Worth To You? If you travel to a CCNA boot camp, it's going to cost you thousands of dollars just for the class - and even if your employer pays for it, you've still got to deal with the travel itself, plus time away from your family. Also, how are you going to ask questions after the class? Will you be able to contact your instructor? Probably not. Will they answer you quickly if you can contact them? Again, probably not.
I've solved all of those problems for you with The CCNA Mastermind Online Webinar.
Look at what these features would cost you individually - IF you could find them: That's well over a $4000 value, and that doesn't even include travel, hotel, and food costs!
Enrolling in my CCNA Mastermind Online Webinar is an investment - but thankfully for you, I'm not asking for a $3000 investment. Not even close to that!
I've been exactly where you are right now - ready to become a CCNA, and wondering how many study guides, practice exams, lab equipment, and other study aids I needed to buy - and then finding out that I spent my hard-earned money on useless materials. My CCNA courses have a proven record of helping students just like you pass the exam and earn their CCNA certification.
