1. "A". The initial bits 1111 1110 10 indicate a link-local address.

 

2. "E". IPv6 addresses that begin with "FF" are multicast addresses. There are no broadcast addresses in IPv6.

3. That's an IPv4-compatible address.

 

4. "A,D". This is zero compression, and can be used only once in a given IPv6 address.

 

5. The shortest legal expression of the IPv6 loopback address is "::1". Without the quotation marks, of course.

 

6. "A". 6to4 tunnel edge routers - the IPv6 routers that are communicating with each other through the IPv4 cloud - carry an IPv6 address beginning with 2002, followed by their IPv4 address expressed in hex. They carry a /48 prefix.
