And now -- the answers!
1. There is no difference between the AD of an internal or external route in OSPF - it's always 110 by default.
It's EIGRP that has a different AD for internal and external routes (90 and 170, respectively).
2. The default code for a route learned by OSPF via route redistribution is "O E2".
3. The command default-information originate always allows an OSPF router to advertise a default route even when one is not present in the routing table.
4. OSPF supports VLSM, is suitable for use in multivendor networks, and supports neighbor authentication. It's EIGRP that is considered a hybrid protocol, not OSPF.
