I post several of these a week, so bookmark my CCNA Practice Exam page while you're here, and let's get started with today's exam!

And now -- the answers!

1. That value is allll the way at the bottom of the show version command. You'll usually have to hit ENTER once to see the entire output.

2. Choices with the answers:

Physical interfaces are all closed -- True

Serial ports belong to VLAN 1 -- False; serial ports don't belong to VLANs

Configuration register value is 0x2102 -- True

Password encryption is enabled -- False, it's disabled

3. Here are the answers along with the choices given:

Interfaces are all closed -- False. They're open, which is a serious security concern.

Ports belong to VLAN 1 -- True

Ports belong to same collision domain -- False, each switch port is actually in its own collision domain

Port security is enabled -- False.

4. The switch processing possibilities are store-and-forward, cut-through, and fragment-free. More on those in future CCNA practice exams!
