Here's a five-question practice exam on VLANs to help you get ready for success on the 642-813 CCNP SWITCH exam!

2. Identify the true statements regarding PaGP.
A. Uses dynamic and auto modes
B. Uses active and passive modes
C. Is an industry-standard protocol
D. Is Cisco-proprietary
E. Is used primarily in the construction of Etherchannels
F. Is mainly used to create PTP links via PPP
3. What is the full command to configure a Cisco switch interface to use VLAN 100 for its native VLAN?
4. Which of the following must ports agree on to be placed into the same Etherchannel?
A. port speed
B. trunk mode
C. native VLAN

And now... the answers!
1. To prevent a switch port from transmitting DTP frames, use the switchport nonegotiate command on that port.
2. (A, D, E). PaGP is a Cisco-proprietary protocol used to create Etherchannels, and this protocol uses dynamic and auto modes.
3. The full interface-level command is switchport trunk native vlan 100.
4. (F). For an Etherchannel to be successfully created, the ports in question must agree on speed, trunk mode, native VLAN, allowed VLANs, and duplex.
5. Access ports don't tag frames - only trunk ports do that.
